West Side Blues Fest a Hit in Columbus Park
A peaceful and graceful evening in Columbus Park shows what the West Side CAN be! Keep praying, keep working Chicago. The area is going to leave behind the sorrow and conflict of gangs and drugs and gain back its historic reputation for BLUES AND SOUL! Larry Taylor headlined as Former Ald. Ike Carothers and his Illinois Alliance presented a free West Side Blues Fest.. Also featuring Killer Ray Allison plus West Side guitarist Joe B and singers Mzz Reese, Della Greer and Little Harvey. That's Ike Carothers and Hawk on the horns! Killer Ray and Larry below. Tee's catering truck provided food.
